Well it seems as though Euro4 is beginning to show through.
If you look on the Peugeot website you won't find a direct mention of the Citystar with ABS. But, if you go to the finance bit and select 200cc models you get shown the Citystar 200 ABS. Clicking on the model page there isn't a mention of ABS but the price is £3899 compared to the standard one at £3699. I'm guessing they have a few standard (euro3) still to shift.
So as money is tight getting one of these could be a budget replacement for the J300 I run now. I know it won't be as capable but I loved the old Elystars I once had as a good compromise on size versus comfort. I may have to request a test ride to see what the practical difference between 300cc/28hp/190kgs and 200cc/20hp/150kgs really is.

Why not get a test ride on the J125... the pre reg and new deals are around £3300
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Kawasaki-J125 ... SwZQRYXkiO
get the same size as the j300 with less weight

Re: Citystar 200
Hmm. 15hp and 182kgs (Kawasaki website) are too far for me to drop, I think as I need motorway capable speed. Anyway, I'll be able to specify wind deflectors for my legs with the Citystar! Oh, how I miss them from my old Satelis.michaelphillips wrote:Why not get a test ride on the J125... the pre reg and new deals are around £3300

Re: Citystar 200
It's actually 19hp / 14kw.
Nothing wrong with proper Peugeots. I've had 2 Elystars and 3 Satelis, running all of them up to between 20k and 30k miles. Lovely bikes and the Satelis is vastly underrated: nothing else offered anything like the same blend of safety, security, comfort and practicality at the time.
The only reason I moved away from Pugs was because they stopped fitting ABS except on the Satelis 125. Now Euro4 is here, I'm probably heading back.
