Always fancied an R1 but for some reason never bought one (maybe survival instinct!) :?

I had a big old German Diana scooter for a week or two before getting rid of it for an FS1E. Wished I'd kept them both - worth a few bob now.
Paddle harder. I can hear banjo music!

Terry, plenty of cheap FJ's now to choose from. £2500 will buy you a minter. I had a 1TX and it was one of the most practical (not to mention grunty) bikes I've ever had. Bit thirsty now though against later bikes.

None I wished I'd kept, I always look forward to the new bike. I have loved all my bikes, except for a rough Bantam 175 I had as a youth. icon_wink-.gif Wales.gif

Vespa GTS300 Super for practical runabout, Triumph Tiger Explorer for conquering the planet. Car almost obsolete.

Had one of these too was recovering from a broken right leg, went into a bike shop in Blackfen to get a spark plug for my Honda rs 250,was ridding now,saw a Yamaha fj1200 out side, the bloke who was working ,he still is ridding, took me out was pillion, bloody hell ,that was it,picked it up 2 weeks later.
Owned it 6 months [1000 miles] then sold it,saw a very nice one at the may-day run Hastings.
