I,m relocating to Shropshire/Wales

Post by Ferret »

Yep we off as soon as we can , the wife loves that area of the U.K. , and it just started as a bit of wishful thinking on her part . She went to work and had been pondering a couple of weeks and just came and said let's sell up and move ,so that's what we're doing .Hopefully sometime before the end of this year we will be in and settled within 25 miles of Shrewsbury , does this allow me to join in with the northern muppets .I,m looking forward to having some great riding time when we move as my brother also lives up that way and still rides . We have been very surprised as to how much work is available up that way ,so interviews here we come . I have not had an interview in 20 years ,that's gonna be interesting .The wife likes a few places around Oswestry . So see some of you all up there sooner rather than later .

North???? Its barely far enough up to be in the Midlands!
I'm actually considering a relocation to that area myself at some point, when circumstances work themselves out.

don't be surprised if you have to apply on line, and take a test on line before you get an interview,

this is the new way, firms pay a lot of money to get other firms to sort out applicants who do and who don,t
tick the box.

Good luck with the move
And your future.

It's gorgeous around there, we've had lots of great holidays in Shropshire. It's lovely around Ludlow too.

I have found if you go for a contracting job the interviews are much easier and shorter. You do need your own company and accountant though which negates many of the gains!
