Now I am a bit more used to the Michelin PR4's I am finding them to be roughly on par with the Bridgestones, and having a little more fun with them.

Had my first slow group ride on the big Burg last night with the local MAG. Not a massive distance and only a handful of us but MAG are trying to restart the monthly ride outs so it is a start. Interesting for me as I normally ride solo for the past 10 years and if in a group I am one of the marshals looning down the outside so riding in a group with differing abilities on a bike with no clutch though not ‘fun’ did give me a challenge

As it was sunny and not raining outside today, I decided to get around to fitting the Progressive springs on the rear shocks. Pleasantly surprised how easy it was.
Thought, rather than spend ages getting the Tupperware off I would see if I could avoid it. I happen to have just the right angled 14mm spanner so getting them off just required a persuading stick and lots of 1/8 turns of the nuts and bolts.
Getting the spring compressed just required a bit of rope and my persuading screwdriver.
Testing time next to see if this improves the handling during two up riding

Sunny today so we went out for wee bimble on scootie.
We found a good cafe / farm shop just a couple of miles east of Wolsingham towards the A68. I know it's been there for a while but it's the first time we've called in.
Worth a look if you're in the area.

Took the long 40 mile way home from work this afternoon. Rather pleasant in the subshine, not many other bikes about and only one minor Wooooo horsey moment ( involving leaf mulch plus too much throttle. Proper old tank slapper or is that knee slapper ?)

After getting soaked yesterday, I have decided to take the car for the rest of the week now that I have a snotty cold. I did get to enjoy the grip levels of the Avon tyres in the wet and warm 5’c temps so it was kind of worth it

Fitted the new Pug screen and it is a Pug....Pug ugly thing but not half as ugly as the Givi tall screen
Test fitted the tocano muffs as well ready for the cold..Made a mud flap like the one i had on the Burgmans
fits just under the radiator panel keeps the crud off the under side and stops nails being flicked at the rear
tyre..
