Hi guys, Henry here.
Long time motorcycle/scooter fan, finally got around to getting my first bike (I am in my mid 40's, so I waited a long time )
Picked up a Burgman 400 a month and a half ago, rode it for a month, and spotted an used Tmax 500 for sale. Bought that and sold the Burgie.
somebody on FB recommended this site to me, says there are quite a few Tmax owners on here.
If there is another Euro Tmax forum, plz let me know.
(I am on Majestyusa, tmax subforum also, but not much traffic.)
Anyways, looking to chatting with you guys about scooter stuff.

Welcome Sk8norcal.
I'm also a TMax owner (500 Mk 3) and a member of the USA Majesty site. I think we've probably got about 6 or 7 TMax owners on here. This site's not been as busy lately either. It's funny, I've also got a Honda Shadow and the UK Shadow forum's almost dead, but conversely the US site is quite active, mind you the US is pretty much cruiserland compared to the UK.
Glad you're enjoying the virtues of the TMax, they're great bikes.

I keep hearing Tmax are popular in Europe.
I guess they are not popular in the UK?

Sorry for the tardiness in replying.
Unfortunately maxi-scooters are not that popular here in the UK, no.
Most Brits seem to prefer to sit in endless queues of traffic in their cars or 4x4s rather than use a bike or scooter. Even for quite short journeys. The weather is probably a factor or it could be that they're seen as high risk, probably a bit of both.
Sports and adventure bikes seem to be the most popular PTW's here on UK roads, with most going into a warm garage for nine months of the year. I wish it were otherwise...
You could maybe learn French or Italian, there seem to be a lot more of them over there.

There are a lot of TMax owners, a lot of people though don't visit forums or other types of groups.

Welcome Henry. There are a few Tmax about. I've got 2 at the moment! I think Grumpy has 2 as well..
I still can't decide if the mk3 is better than the mk2!
The German Tmax group forum has gone. And the MCN bike forum is closing very shortly.
