On I think the second pic in that add right in the middle being the peg that is sticking up
theirs a bolt and that is what I think is the adjuster.

Here's a thing - that nut and those slots are not there on my '18 bike - just a smooth round 'knob'.
It may be an allen screw, but my fingers can't feel a hole. As it were.

Re: XMax 300 headlight
Definitely agree with the bars in the forward position making a significant difference in the handling That feeling of the front end feeling light and a bit floaty at times seems to disappear with the bars forward....Greyerbeard wrote: ↑Sun Nov 04, 2018 2:33 am But overall, I still think the X-Max is excellent...a different animal now it's run in. And the handling SO much better with the 'bars in the forward position.

One thing that is interesting is that they want £300 plus £20 delivery,
Fowler's want £259 for a brand new one.

Just had a grope on mine what I take to be the adjuster is on the back of the unit near the top to the right of
that plastic peg and mounting bracket.

Re: XMax 300 headlight
And does it do anything then?
A longer throw on the main would be helpful, although my big issue is the lack of width of the main beam and how everything in front goes dark when cornering

I was wrong - yes that 'adjuster' is there on mine.
