Re: Italjet 2018
Just seen a spec sheet for these - the 200cc version promises 20bhp in something that weighs only 112kg, which does sound fun round town!!!

Not sure if this article will be positive about the Dragster or not. What do you think?

Re: Italjet 2018
It seems remarkably positive, considering that no-one outside of Italjet has ridden one yet! (That's assuming Italjet are far enough along the development process for their own staff to have ridden one yet!!!)

Re: Italjet 2018
Very sexy scoot. However i dont think any time soon that it will ever be as good as the earlier 2strokes. In fact with the latest EU emissions it will be another slug. Now is the time to buy an early one as they will appreciate even more.

Italjet does not exist. PGO bought the rights of the name. They are not the real thing anymore

Re: Italjet 2018
Though some of the Italian head honchos from the original incarnation of Italjet still seem to be involved I think. So, yes, its not the same company but there are some links back.maxiscootnz wrote: ↑Tue Nov 12, 2019 4:30 amItaljet does not exist. PGO bought the rights of the name. Re: Italjet 2018
Yonks ago, mate had the 125 (his other half was on L plates at the time )with the 175 and gear up kit... and scorpion expansion chamber... 90 mph! - It screamed and it flew!
Funny Front End steering bearing was an issue, fair amount of slop and play... especially at silly speeds!
I had my first scoot a Pug Speedfight 2 100cc 55mph tops! Oh, and the Yamaha 1000 Exup....

This new Dragster looks serious fun (well, the 200cc version at least), but probably utterly impractical and undoubtedly a thief magnet. If parked on the street, you could probably measure the time before being stolen in minutes!
