Hi from Cheshire UK

Post by stephencd1 »

Morning, thanks for letting me join the group.

I'm from The Wirral in the UK. I don't have a Super scooter but I want one and I'd love a CH250 Helix. Cash is waiting, but finding one is bloody difficult.

I use to run the office for a bike courier firm "Pony Express Liverpool" in the late 80's early 90's. The bike shop that did all our servicing work would take the bikes in and give us a test bike to use. I rode everything they had, CBR600 CBR1000 Africa Twin and one day a CH250. How the lads laughed at that one. But once they had a go, you couldn't get the buggers to bring it back, they loved it. I had it for the weekend and rode with a bunch of Gold Wing guys round North Wales, no problems keeping up with them. I've a got an old photo somewhere, I'll post it. Now 25 years later I want one again, I've done Pacfic Coasts and Pan Europeans to death I want a Helix. Please help my addiction.

Welcome Stephencd1. You just missed out on 2 Helix's sold by a member on here. I know that doesn't help you much but it shows they are out there. Keep us updated with your progress in finding one.
I know it's not an Helix but this is a bargain at the reduced price of £1595. Literally buy it and ride it quality.

There's a guy just outside Usk in Wales, who builds oddball bikes and I'm pretty sure he had a couple in his barn. I can't remember his name but he's quite well known. His daughter runs a Craft Centre at the same location and her telephone number is 01873 880879. Come the better weather, the Midweek M5ers might take a trip that way.
