Sorry I somehow missed the age and weight needs.

Maybe something like this would do.

A 125 meets a few things but two up ?

Is it hilly at all where you are ?

I may be having a bit of a rethink, i said in an earlier post that I love the "idea of a Vespa GTS300,but thought we would be too cramped on one :( .
Well last night going driving up the M6 I saw a Vespa enter just ahead of me,because it had just come up the slip road,i caught it up & saw it was a GTS300 & it was 2up & surprisingly with 2 big heavy looking people(not being rude) & the passenger being tall enough it looked like his/her feet where on the running board(not the Footrest),not only that, but once they merged with the traffic, they passed me doing at least 70.
My wife & I are quite bit smaller than the couple on the bike,so i'm now in Vespa mode.
I'm going to see if I can get a test ride :D ,if anyone knows of a Vespa dealer that will insure old people(in the NW)let me know.

If you are serious about a Vespa ( and no reason why you shouldn't be) I'd advise signing up on the modern Vespa forum ( as well as staying on here, naturally.)

There are a lot of folks who have done a lot of miles on auto Vespas. It's a mine of information, and could seriously help you get the right bike for you.

I was on that forum when I had an affair with Beverly, a modern Vespa with the great 330cc engine. A big wheeled scoot, I remember a few of the quick county country lane rides on her.

Many people have 'affairs' with Vespas - I've never been tempted, but I've never ridden one!
I can't help feeling that however fun the bigger Vespas are, a modern Maxi is more practical - more space, more luggage room, more grunt (depending on model obviously), maybe better weather protection. There again, whatever Maxis are, its all about your personal desires and needs!

I agree then I see a 2016 70th anniversary model GTS 300 for sale local for more than I'd spend on a decent 400 Burgman and common sense goes out the window .
