Depends on your commute - if it's a lot of stop/start from cold, then yes your mpg will suffer on any vehicle - you'll only get 100+ on fairly gentle country road riding! I seem to average around 98 (computer; reality probably 95...) in a mixture of town and country.

My commute of 30 miles included quite a lot of medium-high speed running at a fairly steady pace, which did give me good mpg overall. With the Forza I am barely getting better than 95 in the same conditions and my overall average is just 87mpg. So don't feel too bad - it's not the way you ride it, more likely the where you ride it
