Hi, I have a Forza 750, and I change the engine oil every 8000 miles (12000km) as per the Honda manual. This matches the NC750 schedule, which shares the same engine. I change the oil myself, so it is relatively cheap. I change both the engine oil filter and DCT clutch oil filter at the same time. Hiflo parts are about £9 each. I also change the air filter twice as often as Honda recommend - after 16000 miles mine was very dirty. So although I try to follow Honda's recommendations, I will deviate when I think I need to.

My recommendation to Forza 350 riders is to change the oil at 8000 miles (12000km) as Honda recommend. If you are changing the oil yourself, then by all means do it more regularly, if it makes you happy. 29bhp from 350cc is relatively mild by today's standards.

If you change the oil more often than recommended, the only harm you can do is probably to your wallet, your bike however will be more than happy.

My Tmax gets over-maintained, but then again once its warmed up it gets ridden like I stole it.

From various video evidence and crime reports in city centres, I believe this is how most Tmax are ridden!

To be fair, its how most motorcycles are ridden, although I brought my R1250 into work today for a change and it just pootled along at 70 down the motorway doing 3000 rpm. It felt pretty weird compared to the scoot.
