I'm a complete tech numpty so I can't help that much. I have in my possesion an early 'Technical Orientation Guide' for the first Tmax. AFAIK its the only mention in any document of the procedure to reset the counter! It says...

To reset the V-belt indicator light, disconnect the 2-pin jumper connector for 2 to 5 seconds with the
main switch turned on, then reconnect it.

...which may not help if you can't find the connector! I remember its a small black plug and socket thingy, close to the CVT.

My bike doesn’t seem to have the plug with the link / jumper though.

Confusing.

I think a quick call to your local Yamaha dealer or to Yamaha.co.uk will solve the issue! Let us all know what you find out if you will.
Probably not ugly enough for the 'Ugly Bunch'! :lol:

Been riding for 54 years & owned too many bikes to list here...
