Clutch

Post by jeremyp »

What do you think about this clutch. About 0.7mm on leading edge, 2mm on back edge. Service manual says 2mm is minimum:

It'll go for a bit longer but it's moving closer to replacement. But you don't need to rush out and get replacement just yet, unless you are planning on doing some big tour for a couple of thousand miles. Perhaps do it when you next replace rollers and belt? How long until those things are needed?
Probably not ugly enough for the 'Ugly Bunch'!

Been riding for 54 years & owned too many bikes to list here...

Thanks Data.

I'm doing the complete transmission now because of this: viewtopic.php?t=25534&sid=4ddf5307392fe ... d1b89b6bfe

Just trying to work out if the bike is a runner because of this: viewtopic.php?t=25530&sid=4ddf5307392fe ... d1b89b6bfe

Pulling my hair out!

In terms of the clutch, I'm thinking about the Malossi Kit: https://www.malossistore.com/en/gb/maxi ... bu4008-M-P

Thanks again
