As requested, pictures of the new bike.

Personally, I think it's pretty. But then, I'm in love! :o  The quality of the bike is beyond reproach, really good. Only covered 500 miles so far and the motor is getting more and more powerful and mechanically quieter. There seems to be plenty of power, plenty of torque and it doesn't notice hills. Average fuel consumption is between 104 and 108mpg but remember I'm not going over the strict running in speed of 50mph. But I am varying the throttle and engine revs, changing gears quite a bit and varying the speed with no regard for economy. So it was a bit of a surprise to find it doing so many miles per gallon. That's an average of 349 miles per tankful at that consumption rate. I'm told by others who have them that even after running in (which takes 1200miles) the bikes easily hit 100mpg on E10, which I am running it on.

I'll be fitting my new phone mount, although the built in sat nav 'Tripper Navagation' works brilliantly. Soon to come with be engine protection bars, and a set of Givi hard case panniers.

So there we have it. Pleased so far.

That looks very neat and 100mpg sounds very attractive. They must have a decent amount of grunt as I've seen a few with sidecars fitted for sale. I do like the look of Enfields and considered them before I bought the burgman but I was looking for something a bit bigger physically. icon_thumbs_up.gif icon_looking-good.gif

Yes, I've actually seen a Meteor 350 hooked up to a lightweight Watsonian. Didn't get a chance to speak with the owner but it went off down the road quite smartly.

That might be Nikki, who was on the Maxi Muppets forum regularly around the mid '00s when she had a Piaggio MP3. She has a Meteor 350 and sidecar now.

Well you can. The 650 Interceptors can be brilliant or ropey from new.

My Son unluckily got a lemon, buying his.

I've not heard a bad word about any of the 350s, though.
