Helix - Bad Vibration
Re: Helix - Bad Vibration
Glad you've got it sorted Jim, as much as I'm enjoying the DN-01 I do miss using my two CNs.

Jaz, What has happened to your CN's? I need to check out a DN 01.......new to me.......
OMG - A Space Rocket! - bet you're enjoying that, somewhat different class to a CN though. Might have one - if I could give away 30 years, my tire won't arrive until 9th, then I try to get it fitted quickly and back on the bike, looks like I'll be on the Foresight for the w/e bimble at Snoring, are you coming?

SCOOTER? It looks like a full size bike! Must find a test on it.

Quite a bike the DN-01 although from what I can find it looks like one of Honda's mistakes....very few and far between making dealer servicing difficult through lack of familiarisation with the model, and what was it? A 680 cc Twin - definately a motorcycle but nothing against that.
Enjoy it Jazz, so your two CN's may soon be for sale?

Standard Honda V twin from the Dullsville mated to an Hydrolic gear train that hardly ever gives any problems...If it does it has two oil seals that you/me could change...for any thing else you replace the unit as a cassette..last count the unit was over 2 grand..but as said they do not often go wrong. Honda have been using them in the farm quads for years, and you don't hear the farmers complaining..

Re: Helix - Bad Vibration
I remember the Honda DN-01 when they sold them here in Australia. They were on sale back in about 2009 for around $16000 AUD. They didn't seem to sell many, so Honda ran them out at $8990 AUD (nearly half price, brand new). I was nearly tempted back then, but was just too big.
Since then, I've never seen Honda do any kind of massive discounts on a new bike to get rid of them. So they really wanted to clear out stock of the DN-01 at the time.
