the GTS is suprisingly quick, it gets up to 70mph in good time, cruising, well Im happy at 70-75mph, I took it up to 85 mph, which was probably near balls out, but the handling really suprised me, turnes in quick, good lean angles, suspension is a little bouncy, but its no sports bike. The gts is a very capable machine. Check out GTS owners forum for more info.

I was thinking about getting a GT before I decided on the X8. I remember Cheeky Tom saying spend the extra on the GTS as it's a better, more refined ride. Trouble is a lot of people will say you can get a GTS 250 for £1500 but I'll be buggered up the arse if I could find one for that money. There were plenty of GT 125's around but even they were about £1200 - £1500.

All the GT 200's for £1400ish were all scratched to buggery or had small dents. :| You might have more luck at this time of year though.

My plan is to sell Tmax next spring /summer to get best price unless a swop situation comes up then see whats available or even wait till end of season /winter.Im not bothered about a few scratches as mine will be in and out of my van or on trailer.Julian

Are you expecting it to break down a lot then, being as its going to be spending a lot of time in a van or on a trailer  You could actually ride it you know, I realise thats an alien thing to many trad riders these days but us Muppets?
