I noticed when the French were discussing motorcycles that Intelligent Speed Adaptation came up again:

Essentially tracking your speed, comparing it to location, and either limiting your maximum speed or instantly giving a fine.
I mean if we're law abiding citizens it's not so bad right? Nothing to hide, nothing to fear?
Automatic fines for speeding?

You can already get these to cut your insurance. Our son did, his 1st years driving insurance was only £300 compared to £1200 for the nearest normal quote.
