No my Forza hasn't had a clean since before my France trip nearly a month ago.

Today had a blast down the A12 to London for a dental crown fitment. Good chance to scrub the tyres in.

But was it hot in the bike. Even at 80mph.

With the lack of rain, it would be antisocial to use precious water cleaning bikes and cars.

Just be sensible if using a hose (i.e. only use it when required rather than it running all the time), maybe don't use a pressure washer as they use more water. A watering can probably most efficient.

Today With the helix on the platform lift I removed the clutch and saw that one of the three shoes each of which should be retained by a circlip had its circlip missing allowing the shoe to vibrate as it came into contact with the drum which I'm sure was the reason for the juddering on start off, 3 new circlips ordered from David Silver Spares so have to wait about 2 weeks for them when new shoes will be fitted. Shall have to use my lovely Foresight in the meantime.

I finally got round to painting the stands. Easier than I thought. The side stand was actually in good nick. The main stand just needed a quick once over with a wire brush. A lick of Wilko fake Hammerite and all is well.

Well tonight once it is cooler I will start cleaning it. The local RBLRB has been invited to have a stand at the Navy bases Family’s day so the Burg had to look better than it currently does. 2 months and 2000 high speed miles of bugs and road grime to shift. Could take a few nights
