Lit Motors C1 - The Future?
http://www.motorcyclenews.com/MCN/News/ ... i-concept/
Gyro-stabilised electric vehicle
Two gyros - housed under the seats - keep the vehicle upright, even in the event of a collision.
The electric motor will be able to propel the C-1 to a claimed top speed of 120mph, with a range of up to 220 miles. Charging will take six hours on a 120V connection.
I bet if it had a petrol engine fitted, the fuel economy would be excellent due to its slippery shape.
I like

You can watch a feature on the C1 on BBC Iplayer Click

The gyro system looks very impressive, I want one!

That BBC1 clip was an utter waste of time, like the machine though.

If I'm riding two wheels, I don't need a cage. If I'm riding a cage, I want more than two wheels. Old school, I guess...

Errm...Far out!
Its quite a clever idea, but will you really be able to filter? And with a front tyre as fat as that, will it handle?

One thing that puzzles me is the cornering.
Do the gyros stop spinning when you go faster so that it will lean?

Re: Lit Motors C1 - The Future?
There was a discussion on here a while ago about it.
In summary: Its a total non-starter.
