Hi All
My 2001 Silverwing was an incredibly thirsty bike but a few on here said the later ones were much better? Was there a specific model/year where things improved?
Thanks
Silverwing economy, what model year did it improve?

I know someone who had a 2004 bike, which was thirsty, but now has a later bike (2009 IIRC), which is much improved but as Honda didn't publicise what they changed (ECU mapping??) no idea when specifically they made the update.
Perhaps exploring Fuelly and SpiritMonitor would give a clue?

2007 I think but may be overlap look for black deeper dash pockets instead of colour coded plus exhaust sensor

Lol, no not for me! Mate wants one for commuting and asked why I got rid of mine etc. I still intend to resurrect the Nexus, one day...michaelphillips wrote:

Pretty sure it was 2007 as well. I'm also thinking of getting one, though only for the odd trip so i'd probably
end up with a 'thirstier' model. Apart from the 2007 change and coming with ABS I believe the Honda Silverwing
has had no more changes to it, at least here in the UK.
