I achieved the best mpg ever out of my SYM GTS 250 today... 94.76mpg!! I always check my mpg when filling up
and my previous record was 93.2mpg a few years ago. I always reset my trip meter with each tank and today I'd done 390km and filled up with 11.6 Litres of petrol.
Here's how I worked it out...
390km = 241.8miles
(39 x 6.2 to change the km to miles)
241.8 divided by 11.6L = 20.845 miles per Litre
20.845 x 4.546 (imp gallon) = 94.76mpg.
Out of curiousity whats the best mpg you've acheived out of your scooter (or a previous one). For those who keep an eye on there mpg of course, I know some on here don't really care.

Re: Best Mpg ever?
Thanks for posting that equation, I've been wondering since I got my x8 125 what the mpg was but I've never been able to work it out. It looks like I achieved 83.16mpg on my last tank which is lower than I thought being as its a 125 but I don't do any long runs just a 15 minute commute, I shall keep an eye on it.

I got 79 out of the baby Burger once. I mostly get mid 70s which isn't too bad....for my riding style!

91mpg dead on from my 400 Burgman. That's the best I've managed so far. To qualify that, mostly it was between 50-55mph on country roads. My average is around the 77-78mpg mark riding normally. Most economical bike I've ever had. I'd say your figure is really good. Well done mate!

Think the best I've had on the PCX was about 115 mpg but its been as low as 80 mpg when ridden flat out.

Re: Best Mpg ever?
as below...
75.9 on my Nexus
82.9 on a rented X-City 250
and worst of all 60.7 on my TMax... but its worth it, I love it to bits.

Re: Best Mpg ever?
Like Wozza with his NC700 DCT, i can get 84 MPG if i ride like a grandad but normal MPG is 70-ish.
The CB500X does around 65 if i cain it or 76 if used in grandad mode
