I've been juggling thoughts in my mind about screen spoilers for a while now. 3 seem to be the best, the MRA you posted, although they have a larger touring version too. Laminar lip and the Wundelich.

They all cost quite a lot IMO, hence I haven't tried anything yet.
Ironically, I'm leaning towards the most expensive option. I saw the Wunderlich wind deflector on Doug's C600 sport and while the most expensive, it seems to be the most versatile, sturdier and beautiful looking.

Bike season is closing to an end here in Sweden, so I'll probably get it later in the winter.

I'm looking forward to read a possible review, if you get the MRA one.

Oooh... never seen one with the chrome looking inserts on the wheels before. The mk3 is full of lovely little styling touches if you examine it carefully - all of which vanished on the mk4!

And cost you £1500 for the privilege.
Yep, I had a good look over a mark 4 at Alf England. The extra 30cc wasn't an incentive and the overall styling a big turn off. The clock arrangement IMHO is horrendous. The mark three is the most pleasing to the eye with more than enough performance for me... as a complete package its unbeatable. I bought my hi-tech silver with just 1900 miles on the clock for £5500. :D

Hmmmm - I've seen something similar for the mk4, but wonder if its big (long) enough to make any difference?

I've got the full screen version of those on the mk4 - the screen is exactly the same as standard, but has a flip up. Its good - without the flip-up it was noisy at speed, but I think that the TMax mk3+ Laminar Lip was quieter.

As I've said before, there seem to have been different design teams at Yamaha working on the TMax mk4, working in opposite directions! The styling team decided to make it look butch and aggressive by getting rid of the styling details, whilst the chassis team were making it softer and nicer! Curiously, biker types really like the mk4, whilst disliking the mk3! The extra grunt is nice - you only really notice it for mid range acceleration. Have to disagree with the clocks. OK, the styling is a bit weird but they work very well. I wasn't a fan of the mk3's clocks, with that far too small to read rev counter. Yet to be convinced that the mk4's belt drive offers any advantage whatsoever though!! Overall, the mk4 is a more rounded package, whilst the mk3 is more sporty and edgy.

I like sporty and edgy! The mark 3 has more Tmaxy characteristics... :)
