All scooters have a clutch apart from the Honda Integra which has two.

Welcome and good luck, you just need to adapt your riding style (a lot) and enjoy the journey (and comfort).
Having also recently picked up a 500 Evo I found putting the rear preload to max helped it maintain stability in the bends, otherwise it had distinct understeer. I still have a bike for the occasional adrenalin rush, but there's still fun to be had hustling a maxiscoot along and getting the most out of it, in many ways it's harder and more challenging.
