Good, can't get over the flat front L plate though, everyone used to wrap them around the fork leg years ago.kishan wrote:yup one of my future plans when i can find time to deal with it as i have two jobs on the go.Brubaker wrote:What about losing the L plates, is that in your future plans?

be careful about ditching the extra mudguard. the reflector missing could be an mot failure.
i remember being told to fit one on my 125

Re: 2014 gilera runner 125 ST
the reg will get covered in crap without that rear mudguard
also scorpion exhausts were shite for the runners
mine fell to bits made it slower and looked crap after a few weeks riding

Re: 2014 gilera runner 125 ST
if its new leave the oe one on they runn much better with them then any aftermarket
i changed mine as it rusted after 20,000 miles and three years
also will invalidate the warrenty if you mess with anything even bulbs
i had to claim on my warrenty for a dodgy rear tranmission cover as it cracked
that was 2003 though

Re: 2014 gilera runner 125 ST
Much better then your typhoon 125
Removing the hugger will send mud & water every where over back of scooter plus no rear reflector is mot fail
The standard exhaust works the best on a standard runner .
Changing too many things can invalidate insurance also
Hope they sorted out the leaking fuel filler cap as my 2010 ST200 would get water in the tank sometimes if left in heavy rain ,This made for poor running & cutting out issues

Yup, leave that reflector on pal. I had one on my first scooter (the Skipper, a tame version of yours) and when it came to the MOT mine had mysteriously fell off during the same week, but I got away with it because the Skippers top box had a large reflective strip on it. I'm now currently running the not so tame version of your's the Aprilia SR Max lol

Re: 2014 gilera runner 125 ST
cheers decided to keep the 2nd mudguard. im now debating whether to get a scorpion exhaust or a akrapovic exhaust system which gives a 0.6 bhp increase.

Nice!
Nah, put the money towards taking your test - then you can have lots more bhp!kishan wrote:im now debating whether to get a scorpion exhaust or a akrapovic exhaust system which gives a 0.6 bhp increase.
