Re: VESPA ??!!??!! What is Good about one??????
Stopped at the local Vespa dealer yesterday, as I was in downtown San Diego at the airport.
HOLY SHITE!!! That's a lot of $$$ for an occasional toy to ride to the beach, etc. Even if it's an everyday ride, they are starting at almost $6,000.00 for a basic, stripped 150!!!
They had two of the new, retro-styed Vespa 946s...at $10,000.00!!!!! The owner said he's sold 6, two to some rich guy in la Jolla who wanted a PAIR that matched...Wow.

Ferrari are doing clever marketing with there new super toy .
Set a silly price. Create a demand and you cant buy one unless you have owned 5 other ferraris.
Personally i wouldnt ovn one of those either

Everyone brings up the 946 its a special model made in Aluminum its not mass produced like others so you have to pay more our local Piaggio dealer had 3 in sold them all .They have a cheaper not so extreme version the Primavera .

If it was made out of carbon fibre then that may justify a high pricetag to prolong a future classic of a bygon era
