Vespas need lots of aftermarket nick-nacks to inrease their utility because of their olde worlde design.
I would rather have my luggage under the seat than have to fart around with bungee straps.
Plus when I travel to work my helmet, jacket, trousers and gloves can be stored under the seat.
Can't do that with a Vespa.

I'd still rather ride a 300 GTS than a Forza. icon_bleh.gif

Vespa GTS300 Super for practical runabout, Triumph Tiger Explorer for conquering the planet. Car almost obsolete.

Each to their own, but I would like to point out that my Forza is faster, has a proper speedo, has ABS, is more comfortable and has a much better fuel range and makes for a practical sixty miles a day commuter.
If I was wanting a toy for occasional weekend pottering and posing, Vespa would be my number one choice

Re under seat storage Vespa GT/GTS has removeable under seat storage just lifts out to get at engine and also if you are at a scooter rally also doubles as a beer cooler just add bag of ice and bit of water

I like Vespas. If I had a garage with various scooters I'd definitely have a couple Vespas in it.

I've taken the liberty of editing his post, because of that link and also because the link doesn't work.
