Integra rider referred here from the NC700 forum

Post by bluemak »

I've been riding PTW only since 2006 when my son went to a uni locally and we got an Xmax 125. We both did the big bike test in 2009 when he turned 21 and got himself an ER6f. That freed the Xmax up for me; although I did a couple of rideouts on the Kawasaki (I don't think I ever gave it full throttle). A couple of years ago my son graduated as a Dr, married and moved out and so the bike went. My wife was not happy me getting a "bike" but agreed that a bigger scooter was OK. She is quite supportive and has been out as a pillion both for pleasure and to beat traffic to appointments.

Why the Integra? Well price came into it and also handling with the bigger wheels. Storage has been addressed by top-box and panniers and the chain lube with a Tutoro oiler. In some ways it's a close to a bike as I could get. The DCT is interesting and has been used in manual when I've had to ride on snow and ice and can lock in a gear.

Dezzie from the NC site suggested to someone to check out this site so here I am to give it a look over. I hope to find helpful hints and tips and post anything I think might help others.

So I am a year round commuter and also like occasional ride-outs on the great roads in past the great scenery in Aberdeenshire.
