NC700
Had a look at the NC700 today. Nice, but it was parked next to a VFR800X Cross runner which her indoors preferred for the much better pillion perch. Which was fortunate, as I preferred the V4 engine over the parallel twin. Will I be tempted to switch to the dark side I wonder...

The cross dresser is a lovely bike the vfr motor burbles away, but id be looking at the new nc 750x, lovely, I had a ride on one last week, great engine with up to 80 mpg, you could get a dct version and a comfy seat as well for less than the price of a new cross runner.
Im not a gynecologist, but I dont mind taking a look.

The crossdresser is definitely a wonderful machine, though it hasn't been a particularly good seller for Honda and i don't really know why it hasn't been more successful. The V4 engine is a bit on the juicy side though..
So Mark, you've had a go on a NC750 then... I thought you'd like it. I reckon you should have gone for the Integra 750 really inspite of what you saved.

I know wozza, the 750 actually suprised me, I wasnt expecting so much difference, ill be keeping the 700 integra , at least until I get back from belgium, , unless larry wants to buy it off me .

Yes I was a bit surprised myself as going by early reports who stated the power difference was subtle. Well it's not leaps and bounds, but it certainly is a more exciting bike to ride with a more grunty power delivery.

Re: NC700
Thanks guys, really useful. The standard pillion seat on the NC looked a bit hard for her bum. We couldn't both sit on it though as the showroom floor was a bit too slippy. The Crossrunner though had a centre stand so we both got on that and it was indeed comfy. Bit biased I am due to my previous vfr ownership but we bought the J300 for economy. The Crossrunner forums report 45-48 mpg so the vfr is not exactly sipping fuel.
