up grade

Post by pointburgman »

Hi all, I have a question for some clever muppet at the end and pic
Just thought i would show you a little up grade i have done on my Burgman 650 Trike.
I took off the boxes and wheel arches as the boxes as they where rubbing the fibre glass away, I repaired them then resprayed the arches to match the colour of the bike, then i decided to make a rear bumper as the back end doesn't look right.as if there was something missing.
So i made a wooden form then fibre glassed a rear end and added a few extra brake lights. I plan on putting the givi boxes back on higher up on a rack and took off the reflectors and added some marker lights
First pic's are before then after.
Tell me what you think please.
Oh the question !!!!!! do any of the muppets know what this electric plug is by the left hand seat. pic below

Looks good, more unified.

The lead looks like a battery charger quick connector?

icon_looking-good.gif That looks loads better Mister! Do you notice any extra vibrations or noise when doing more than 50mph?

Hi, Thx all for your replies, No vibrations at all, in fact since i removed the givi boxes off the out riggers it's 100% quieter, the trike happily travels at 70 without hardly a sound, Haven't taken it much higher than that as the wife tells me what speed I'm doing, thought the speedo was ment for that.
I have sprayed the givi panniers already, they look good, even if i say so myself. just waiting to sort out some frames for them.
Cheers about the connector, so basically i can leave it alone or even plug in seat warmers for the winter icon_thumbs_up.gif
Oh i finally bought a set of scala rider G4, now the wife's is in my head all the time icon_th_rofl.gif
Oh and i put on a nice set of grip puppies for my little pinkies
cheers
