Hi Muppets,
Just joined up, I ride a 2013 Honda S-Wing ABS. Only passed my CBT just over a week ago and clocked up just over 300 miles on my scoot (LJ). Definitely interested in meets providing there not too far as, I'm only on a 125 and a little inexperienced when it comes to trips on the fast A roads but, starting to get the feel for speed and the bikes handling. I am happy to travel up to 100 miles from my home though, I'm in Norwich.
Matthew.

Re: Newbie from Norwich
Hi Matt, welcome.
Me n Clive have done the odd run to the east coast but just to Mablethorpe and Skegness.
I did a few runs to Great Yarmouth but that was a long time ago. I suppose it's a good trip to get anywhere from Norwich, you'll have to move!
I think there are muppets out your way though, although some tend not to advertise their location

welcome lad , feeling your feet and wetter weather coming so just ease the brakes and take it steady, my daughter is doing her cbt and they prompt both levers together for stopping.. think its the new thing
I cant seem to remember.. I don't know where I'm going, but I'm on my way.

Re: Newbie from Norwich
My instructor taught me to use the front brake for slowing down and drag the rear for slow speed but, I'm used to my bike now and can creep on the throttle alone. Having linked brakes on the S-Wing, I tend to use the rear for slowing down although, I do have a query about my brakes but, I'll post that in the relevent section.michaelphillips wrote:welcome lad , feeling your feet and wetter weather coming so just ease the brakes and take it steady, my daughter is doing her cbt and they prompt both levers together for stopping.. think its the new thing
