Victor, Muddyfox, 67fatboy123 - Not sure if you have been around the A453/A50/M1 roundabout/junction recently but I decided to go for a bit of a ride earlier to check I was thinking of the right layby and to get fuel as it's not far from us and with all the road layout changes that first lay by has now gone. It is a small standing area marked "Authorised Vehicles Only" so that can't be used. There is another small layby about half a mile further on or there is the service station just before the A6 Derby junction on the A50. What are your thoughts? DC

My vote is the small layby but willing to compromise.
