Hi
I have a project ET4 which has a front Bridgestone that's looks as new but I can not get a rear as they don't seen to list one
As I don't like to mix tyres I am looking at Maxis scooter tyres, I heard good things about them from motorcycle users and I've had them on a smart car with good results any of you guys used them on scooters ?
If so what are your thoughts
I don't think they will last as long as some other than this not sure
Et4 125 tyres
Re: Et4 125 tyres
I had a Maxxis tyre on the back of the Helix for a bit. It was OK in the dry but I found the Metzeler and Michelin Bopper better TBH.
Have a look at Oponeo, they have a huge selection of branded tyres for scooters - good prices & fast delivery too. That said I wouldn't worry about mixing tyres on a little scoot like that - as long as you don't buy anything obviously wooden (Cheng Shin, Vee Rubber etc.) you'll be fine.

Re: Et4 125 tyres
Even with the same brand and model of tyre, you're effectively mixing tyres.
Just get the cheapest one you can find for the rear in the correct size.
Dunlop Scootsmarts are very good.
And cheaper than Maxxis.

(I've used and can recommend Tyretec)
Matching front if you absolutely have to have them the same:

(delivery costs the same for two as it ist does for one )
