Hi burgermen, K8 400 is 3400 to 3600 revs normal at take off please? Just seems a little high to me and would drive one mad if stuck in a big traffic Q It has had new belt and rollers in Jan this year and only done 200miles till now. just asking as never owned a 400 before.

They do rev high.
The clutch is said not to fully lock up until at least 4000 and releases again a bit below that
I think earlier ones are supposed to start biting around 2600 later ones around 3200 with a new clutch. I will check but I think my L1 is about the same as yours for a mild launch.
