Hi all . Thanks for all your comments so far.
Pete : good to see you detailed stats. I had my first rear tyres at 6.5k and I guess I will need another at 12 to 13k...but the front still has lots of life. so I guess I too will do 1 to 3 ratio.
I am on my second set of brake pads front and rear.
I too had an Swing 125 before the forza.

Good on you Generalpurpose, I think the Forza 300 is very under-rated scooter and one that offers very good value - just make sure the servicing done to schedule and you should have no problems.

Re: Highest Mileage Forza 300
I totally agree with you Pete. I do also do an extra oil change in between services.
I also noted that my mpg gets better with mileage.
I plan on keeping my scooter for a few more years.
only gripe is the stock exhaust as it's rusting badly but once that is beyond use I will buy a nice can for it.

Re: Highest Mileage Forza 300
My mpg over the 21,000 odd miles I've done on it has averaged 85.01 with highs of 88.1 and lows of 82.03
On my previous commute of 50 mile round trip I usually rode at 60-65 on dual carriageways. I expect it to improve slightly with my now 17 mile round trip country/urban commute. Yes agree exhaust, centre stand & rear shock absorber bottom fixings need repainting regularly to keep on top of things but feel its a small price to pay considering how easy they are to keep clean compared with a motorbike.
Good shout re the extra oil change - now my miles will be circa 4,000 per annum I to will do an annual service/oil change done. Will probably flog mine at about 30k when it needs another belt and a pair of tyres. Hopefully I'll be able to pick up another 6 month old, 2,000 mile example for £3,000 like I did with this one!

Re: Highest Mileage Forza 300
that's a good plan Pete.
my commute is 40 miles roundtrip but I don't do it every weekday. I must admit I clean the scooter very rarely.

Re: Highest Mileage Forza 300
Hi Andy. as the current Forza 300 model has only got a EURO 3 emissions engine and from the 1.1.2017 only EURO 4 engine 2 wheelers are allowed to be sold new I guess it's that reason why it's stopped!
I am not sure if Honda will do a newer version with a new EURO 4 compliant engine. If they do they better ensure that also EURO 5 which is coming in 2020 is already being considered! However having said that given Brexit maybe that won't apply to the UK anymore....
