Being polite and courteous and without expletives  I would like to know what fellow Muppets think of these things. Seriously thinking about the Jasper for running around Cowdenbeath 8-)

30 miles top speed means you are always going to have cars on yer arse or overtaking you, it's too slow to be safe imho.

Also, is the 30 miles maximum range (maybe 15-20 miles realistically) enough for your needs?

Kinda looks nice though.

Have you ever lived in a small town? 30 mph in the High Street would be a record, in fact you would have the polis at your door about speeding.

Cowdenbeath is only 2 miles end to end I could do 5 circuits with that range. Morrisons superstore is a mile and a half there and back. Can't walk it 'cause of the bad knee.

I think the Jasper would take a lot of strain off the 300s, I don't like using them in the town as it is.

TBH same price as an electric push bike but believe my mate gets up to 50 miles out of his (less body work) and recharges his battery via solar panel and inverter.

He did a lot of research to find the perfect bike/model.

SteveW is our push bike expert so could probably advise comparison.

With dodgy knee scooter would be better IMO

Well if it fits your needs, go for it :-)

Your expectations of it on the anticipated journeys seem realistic to me, go for it girl icon_thumbs_up.gif icon_moped.gif

its got pedals as its a pedelectric, 15mph max motor of 200 or 250w with a good lithium power pack will easily do 30 miles, and ideal for the town runs, and charge the battery pack indoors, the model above is a hard to find erider. no tax, insurance, mot etc £900 in white and you dont have to pedal http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/E-Shopper-Ele ... SwPCVX948-

they also do a more scooter 50cc lookalike again has the lithium batteries but this version is 10ah battery pack where the shopper version above is 48v the same but 12ah so more range. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/E-Rider-Model ... SwdGFYtFjx

so as a runaround with no costs other than purchase ???
