Even better, reroute the exhaust so the end is right next to your lug hole! You won't hear any funny noises then, or after a while, any noises at all!tmaxrobbo wrote:Thanks for that ! May just take the rear baffle out to drown out the noise completely !!MrGrumpy wrote:Only just been able to listen to this. Firstly, I can barely hear any funny noise over the racket of the Akra exhaust!! And what noise I can hear sounds nothing like belt noise to me - at least nothing like squeals and squeaks that my mk4 used to make.tmaxrobbo wrote:Ok still making this weird noise .As I say rides fine hers a you tube of the sound , its the little chirp you can hear after the blip of the throttle as the wheel comes to a top Any ideas please ?

Noise seems to be getting worse , at various speeds , like a squeak or wind buffeting . The side of the belt has a few "hairs" sticking out made of some king of plastic though the ribs on the belt look ok . its frustrating , thinking of going back to a mk 3
