I feel for you ,I carry ointment in my tool kit lol .Grtting your seat made up or riding with a air hawk or gel cushion may well really help with the hip also .

I travel down Mytholmroyd on my Yorkshire run Meldrew, it claims to have the longest continual hill in England. It certainly feels like it, not for anyone with seating problem .

You've seen me then Smeg lol . The nick name ferret does not relate to the piles ,however it does relate back to my teenage years when ,I did have fun with lots of young ladies and everyone said I was like a ferret down a rabbit hole and it's stuck ever since . Ah fond memories .

Never suffered with piles,touch wood lol.Arthritus in knees/hips my main problem but riding a maxi scoot is more comfortable these days,frequent coffee stops a must.

Eating a banana or two a day, 6-8 dried prunes before I slept and ensuring the only fluid I drank was water to the recommended daily amount stopped farmer giles from ever visiting me again.

That's why I eat them before I sleep, helps warm up the bed at night and I let it all go in the morning before work with ease.
