Parkers guide thought otherwise! Ride more than 2,000 miles a year and it is classed as excessive milage. Apparently bikes are to be brought, polished and ridden not very often and only in dry weather
Exactly. 35K miles?? I'm surprised they took it at all! Even though I have two scoots to keep the mileage on the main scoot down, I still do around 4000 miles a year on the newest Tmax. And I when I talk about trade-ins, the dealer makes a face about the high mileage its done!

lol, it used to be worse when I was riding 36,000 miles a year on just the one bike. Killed a Yam 650 Drag Star in just under 4 &1/2 years(about 150,000) then did the same for my Faser 600, though that was harder to work out the millage as the speedo broke after the first year so trade in was not too bad after 4 years as it had ‘only’ 38,000 on the clock.

A pal of mine got to his 3rd mot before the garage said no more. Athough to he had fitted a new cable for each mot it "fell off" in between :-)
