Hello folks
Im pushing 60 and seriously considering a maxi scooter. Currently I have an Electra Glide that I progressed to from a 1200GS. Now I really enjoyed the GS but cannot seem to feel the love for the Harley, besides the fact its a big heavy beast that I cannot pick up on my own. Dropped it together with my wife at the start of a Spanish Pico's tour last year.
I don't commute on a bike but enjoy getting out on weekends, generally on my own or with my son in law who is a Harley CVO owner and who won't change. We Have a trip to the Pyrenees booked for May where we take my wife and Daughter along as well. The Burgman 650 really does appeal to me but I have no experience on a scooter, not even one of the small beasts. Im going to have to get out and try a few test rides. It would be ideal if I could find something with a bit of luggage and a few toys, such as cruise control.
Onwards and upwards.
