hello
Just a quick hello from a yourban MP3 rider.
I’m looking at buying a new Burgman soon so no doubt will be asking a few questions.

In the meantime I’m just having a look at some of the posts and finding them an enjoying read.

Thanks for the add

Bye for now
Ady

Welcome. Have you found the Burgman section on this forum yet ?

Welcome. I'm in North Somerset, with an SH300.

Thanks guys. I have found the Burgman section thanks, I’ve been looking though, there’s some great stuff on there. I’ve put a deposit down on my Burgman now so hopefully will be picking it up from Guildford Thursday this week :-)

Did you get your Burgman or did the snow get in the way? Have you been out on it yet?

Hi guys.

I did get the burgman delivered to me on Wednesday, however I’ve not really ridden it at all. I rode into work on Thursday (only a short commute) and went to ride it on Friday but came out to a flat battery. I think I left the under seat light on, since then I’ve taken the bulb out.

I then bought a charger yesterday morning, an Oxford oximiser 900 ( seems a nice bit of kit) always handy to have just in case I guess.

So yesterday I charged the battery on a trickle charge all day, thinking I’d do a few miles on it today but woke up to loads of snow, I’ve been out and it started ok so as soon as the snow goes in the week I’ll try again.

Roll on spring lol.

Just a little bad luck to start with but hopefully will be good to go later this week.

Last Sunday, I went out for a nice ride and sat outside the cafe having my lunch. Friday, I rode down to the park and sat outside enjoying a coffee in warm sunshine. Today, I'm back indoors watching the Irish guy trying to get to the top of Gibraltar on his SH300.
