Happy with it apart from the main beam.
did you have the vbelt changed and the valves checked?

Thanks for the oil use info Graybeard, the local dealer quoted £200 inc the new belt but no mention of valves
so will have to check but every service I have had with them they have charged me less than quoted so will
let you know how we go on, I would think Fleetwood prices are less than city prices but don't know for sure.
With the oil use it's like after say 400 miles and you look at the glass and wounder if it as used any no smoke
or leaks topped mine up at about 1500/1700 miles and it was about 1/4 1/3 down from full they dont hold
a lot of oil so it did not take a lot to get it back to full but it is worth keeping a eye on, my last Burgman did
the same but stopped using any after a few thousand miles.

Yes, all as per the service requirements.

First X-Max i've seen with these added;

Obviously wasn't happy with the head lights either.

Wounder how effective they are, not sure about led in general as they seem incredibly bright
but don't seem to light up the road, with my X-max you can see the pool of light on the road
even in daylight and you would think they would light up the road no problem but they don't seem
to have a beam, yet they pick up road signs a very long way away and I have no problem
riding at 60 plus even on our pitch black unlit country roads, queer stuff these led lights.

Funny that I've noticed the same thing on my car LEDs seem fantastically bright for being seen, but as regards seeing the road at night not so great. Still most of the roads I drive on are lit?

The front disc on mine is warping again I read somewhere that it was due to the manufacturer changing materials but I don’t know, will call and see what they have to say.
