There is a chance I could be fine riding as I remember I get an aurora before I have a seizure, so I get some warning and know the reason why. But I'd hate to lose my independence.

I an curious what those pictures look like...

I have been told by a doctor and nurses that they are treating it as a fresh diagnoses therefore it could be six months before I get to ride again.

I'm with Mark unless the quack has told you directly not to ride (bit not mentioned contacting dvla) just take a 6 month sabbatical.
