The main practical parts of the spec. do look really promising but I have to agree that we now suffer from the plague of unnecessary electronics on all new vehicles. From the moment that someone thought that CANbus was a good idea, and that drivers couldn't live without Wi-Fi while they were driving, things have gone horribly wrong. Its practically impossible to buy anything new that doesn't have several computers on board and software which only the original manufacturer can understand if it goes wrong. I am not a Luddite, my house has computers in practically every room but when I am driving or riding I don't need them.

Your wish is easily granted, lose the L plates, sell your Gilera, and buy a shiny new Yamaha XMax 300 or 400. When you're ordering it ask the dealer to fit the aftermarket Akrapoviç exhaust from the XMax accessories range.

Odd. Much cheaper OTR but the monthly PCP is £16 more than the Xmax 300 at £69.
