Greetings from darkest Norfolk

After 40 + years on many bikes of all sizes, I've just bought a Silverwing 600. Reason for changing is comfort. I've only been out it 3 or 4 times and so far I'm quite impressed. It's certainly different from the Street Triple I traded in. A few years ago I rode a T-Max, and on reflection I think it handled better and perhaps I should have got one of those. Yesterday there was a bit of a breeze and I was a little disappointed to find even this light wind affected the Swing quite a bit. However, I seemed to get used to it. At Easter I hope to take a proper long trip, and I'm looking forward to it.

Hello and welcome.
Don't be put off by wind affecting the Silverwing.
'Soft Hands' is the key; the 'wing is very forgiving and, if allowed to, will look after itself..... and you!

We've not been to Hunstanton on bikes for years. Hope you have a good time. We sometimes go to Two Wheeled Tuesday at Buckenham. The Harley Riders meet at the pub in Mundford which is very near us. Hope you enjoy sunny Hunny.

Welcome. The TMax is also affected by wind somewhat more than a "normal" motorbike.. :)
