My Mk4 Tmax 530 sits on about 1.1 RPM once its warmed up, at idle.

Just wondering what RPM others Tmax's sit on at idle.

Just feels like mine is about to stall sometimes at idle (but it hasn't yet)

Got this Tmax 6 months ago (I'm second owner), do about 200km per week, riding to work. Its now done 15500km in total.

I did read in the workshop manual some time ago, that the idle can be adjusted if I need to.

Why not take it to a Yamaha dealer or specialist to suss it out - why worrry if it’s ticking over nicely

Sounds about right? But the handbook tells you how to adjust it, if required.

Yeah, Ill leave it for now.

It does run very well.

Ill get them to suss it out at my 20,000km service later this year.
