Hi I've been riding motorcycles for many years and I recently purchased a 2014 Burgman 400 with 2700 miles on the clock, this is my first automatic scooter. When I set off there is a transmission judder but runs smooth after the speed picks up. Is this normal or does something want looking into. I would appreciate any comments before my warranty runs out.

It is very likely the clutch shoes, a good clean out of all the dust and it's
worth chamfering the leading edges will very likely cure it.
If you don't, try parking it on the side stand It seems to help
maybe due to the dust dropping out of the clutch drum, it helped
with mine.

Juddery feel is often accompanied by a 'seal' like squeak / honk / bark - cluctch engagement and a little belt slip...
Blast with an air line around the clutch bell if you don't have the tools / time... Followed by a few 'spirited' pull aways...
This tends to clear the dust etc... but is temporary...
Stop start traffic and not getting the clutch fully engaged quickly adds to the juddery feel...
Otherwise worth having the casing off, clutch bell off and a blow out, deglaze of the bell and clutch shoes...

Equivalent of a good going over of a M/C drive chain and sprox...
