I'm glad they got it wrong. I just couldn't chance having a bad nights sleep with my apnea. I was quite tired today

Glad you had a good day guys.

Made me chuckle how 'weather protection' is talked about a lot with scooters but any hint of rain and no one goes out in it. :-D

With kayz1 on this subject. I am fortunate enough to have retired. I now ride when I want to not when I have to.

No such thing as bad weather.
Just bad clothing.

Got wet today riding the last 7 miles to my front door from Norfolk (managed without leggings all the way till that point) 8-)

Took main roads so popped into Ducati Norwich & Strattons Lotus dealer (Lots of shiney) icon_no-way.gif

I said to Bern I was glad I didn't take the X-ADV as there where so many byways (some tarmac) I'd still be travelling to the meet point.

Hung all my kit out to dry and the biggest cloudburst made it wetter than it's been all weekend

Once again many thanks to Bern,Roger,Jim & Catherine for your company & generosity

I declare the weekend a complete success

Was a good weekend, 479 miles round trip for me. Almost a dry ride home, with only about 12 miles of wet riding near Wisbech

It also made me chuckle when you dropped out of riding down to Norfolk yesterday on your new Burgman a few days after you said you were going to 'tag along', obviously that had nothing to do with rain did it.
It had absolutely nothing to do with the weather. I was never really committed to coming, it was only an idea that I thought I might make the effort but it would have required moving a family thing around and due to my extreme laziness I never sorted it it time so felt I had to commit to the first thing.

I actually enjoy riding in the rain, I find it very relaxing. As long as my gear is keeping me dry underneath!

I am happy to ride in all weathers. In fact I do, I commute every day regardless of weather. Strong wind is the only thing that stops me.

Yes, strong wind often gives me a pain in the stomack!
