Firstly, as a general rule reduced sidewall hieght means reduced sidewall flex & as you're looking for a more comfortable ride .....

Secondly, the front tyre aspect ratio will have bugger-all effect on the speedo, SliverWing speedo sensor is on the rear wheel

I would say diablo rosso has softer shoulders and a harder middle than the standard diablo . I hate Pirelli,s but I am really impressed with the rosso version .

Hi yes good thinking, thank you, so definately going to stay with a 120/80 14 just wish I could find proper info on the Rosso bias diablo scooter, the chap ( very nice and helpful ) at Pirelli Technical in the UK was just reading off the website.

It look as if the angel is what I am after but only P rated, saying that I rarely get over 70 mph these days. 58 load rating though so should be OK.

Has anyone tried a diablo rosso scooter usual trye on a scoot at the front please.

Well, that's OK if you are talking about a well known brand, which you think should be OK (but not always....) but amongst the lesser known brands, there's some real crap out there eg Vee Rubber, IRC and its the point of the forum to share info to avoid expensive wastes of money.

Hi I`m choosing carefully this time.

The last one a Michelin SC pure was OK in the dry but not the wet, also it squared off badly, worst I`ve ever had and I kept on the pressures etc. Also they have the wierdest groove following going on etc. Can be really nasty.

The pirelli`s look good but quite new so very hard to find any advice etc.

They tend to last 9/10K on the front so will be there for a while so want to get it right this time.

At least getting the front out/in is nice and simple.

PS I`v had a mixed bag with Pirelli`s in the past on bikes but these Diablo rosso scooters do seem to have had a lot of effort put in.

The not so greatness of the SC pure michelin has surprised me. Though in the dry very good. But I suppose most tyres manage that usually.
