Yes I've brought a few usually when advertised brought wrong size only tried it on .
Some still have stickers on .

Wouldn't buy used. Wouldn't consider a free used helmet either.
Bought wrong size could be code for "dropped it on the floor but no scratches showing"
You can get good, 5 star rated Sharp helmets new for about 100 quid so no need to ever risk buying used.

Only if I was pretty certain of its history and knew the person who was selling it. Wouldn't buy one off a general punter.

Simple answer no. Whenever I have finished with an old helmet I cut the fastening and take it to the tip.

I give mine to the local fire station for use in exercises - removal from crash victim etc.
