Signed up on here about 4 years ago as I have a friend with a 650 Burger who has just given up riding at the age of 87. He has been previously with me on a couple of rides with a few of you lot and still talks about it.

Been through a lot of faffing about but am now back with my original username and password.

I have a few bikes including C90s and the like but have recently been thinking of maybe getting a scoot of some kind next year. Not the 650 Burgman though as I rode mates a couple of months ago and found it somewhat (very) cumbersome at low speed. Maybe an SH300 would suit, I will ride another mates one next Spring, I am in no rush.

Noticed that the new Lambretta V200 is out now and I live about 3 miles from Kegra. Might just pop in there at some time and take a look. Does look a bit trendy though and the seat looks wafer thin but at £3500 it's in the ballpark. I will have to decide which of my current bikes to sell first though.

Chris

When he's finished breaking his limbs maybe.

Yeah I'm here too, Chris. 8-)

I have surgery next week and we'll see where we go from there. I had a sit on an older SH300 this week. It fits my criteria too.

As you're not in any hurry and dealers will be quiet over the winter why not have a few test rides, to be sure you get the best choice.

Suggest you include Kaw J300, Yam XMax300, Forza 300 & Beverley 350, if you've got suitable local dealers. Nowt wrong with the SH, personally I prefer the bigger wheel machines but some find it a tad cramped (for the larger chap).

Have fun.
